Specifically in reference to a Ch. 13..but all responsiblities are welcome..this is responsibilities to the consumer. I want to make sure I find a good lawyer. Thanks!

The other answers are great….basically the attorney is making sure your interest is protected, Buy Drugs your paperwork is filled out correctly and filed on time, and to represent you in court.

But from my observations, their main concern is to make sure they get paid. I've seen a lot of bankruptcies get messed up by poorly trained lawyers.

To find a good one, check with the local bar…..but also try asking the local BK trustees. They work closely with these attorneys and know who the slackers are.
